So after putting all the time and effort required to build the first working segment of the boosted train network, I learned that mushrooms and other things won't appear with the frequency they are supposed to unless I generate a new map.
I know we all put a lot of time and effort into our individual projects so I am very hesitant to just swap the map like this. However, it does give us an opportunity to choose a more fantastic terrain to play with. I found a really cool looking seed on another Minecraft blogger's page that looks incredibly majestic and surreal. Give it a look in single player and let me know what you think.

Well, all I can say is that i'm thankful for having my diamond tools on my person, as well as some torches, when the map change was done... because they made sure i was able to dig myself holes to hide in for the night, for the couple game days I roamed, before finding someone else's abode... then i logged off in sight of it.
ReplyDeleteYour old data is saved. If you'd like to grab some items, I can reload the old map so you can grab some items from your chests. In fact, I'll set a day and time to do this so I can grab some stuff too. XD
