Server Rules

1)  Please respect other people's claims and creations.  If I find anyone griefing, I will ban them from the server.  Please report any griefers with a message or comment here at sourceblock.

2)  Mark your claim.  If you have a place you intend to build or mine, please mark it some way.  A building would be preferred, but a sign, marker post or other means works also.

3)  Take pride in your claim.  Ongoing projects are ongoing projects, but if you could take the time to make your claimed areas look neat and tidy, it would be greatly appreciated.  I will be implementing some kind of long distance travelways to make it easy for everyone to see the other residents have been working on and to move materials about.

4) Respect the spawn zone.  This is a public area.  Materials are left for you to equip yourself before your first venture out.  Feel free to take what you need and leave behind anything you don't.  For improvement projects, there is a box set aside where you can donate materials for travel network being constructed.

The spawn zone is not the place to start building.   If you'd like to contribute with any landscaping projects to make the place look nice, by all means, please do so.  But please leave any construction near the spawn area to the server ops.

If you need to gather materials before venturing out to find a suitable place to start building and mining, please take what you need.  Please refrain from leaving sloppy open mines behind you and pick up after yourself.  I would also like it if you would not leave torches everywhere you travel on the surface.  Not only does it not look very pleasant, I'm concerned about the impact on lag.  Lighting up your island or mountain is fine, however.
