Tonight at 5:15pm PST, I will be temporarily swap back to the old map so you can retrieve your stuff from your chests.  So be sure you have an empty inventory by this time because I will only be doing this twice.

Possible Map Wipe ... ?

So after putting all the time and effort required to build the first working segment of the boosted train network, I learned that mushrooms and other things won't appear with the frequency they are supposed to unless I generate a new map.

I know we all put a lot of time and effort into our individual projects so I am very hesitant to just swap the map like this. However, it does give us an opportunity to choose a more fantastic terrain to play with.  I found a really cool looking seed on another Minecraft blogger's page that looks incredibly majestic and surreal.  Give it a look in single player and let me know what you think.

EDIT:  So I've decided to just go ahead and upload it.  Tell me what you think.  And yes, the old world is saved.

Crash source found.

One or more users on my server are experiencing what is being reported as a "stance error" when connecting.  This is causing the server to crash along with their clients.  Repeat connection attempts will crash the server frequently enough to require that I manually reboot.

If you are experiencing this error, please do some research on the web and attempt to resolve it.  The most common solution posted is to uninstall ZoneAlarm and reinstall Minecraft.

I might have to temporarily ban a user or two to protect server stability.  If you find yourself kicked or banned, please message me here.  I'm more than happy to set aside some time to try and find a solution for you.
